There is nothing like a nice salad, and the variation is unlimited!
We are so fortunate to have 2 Tower Gardens in our basement, providing different lettuces, greens and herbs all winter long, and enjoy it every single day.
I don’t always have a plan when I start mixing the salad, but it usually turns our really great!
This salad is a very easy “empty your fridge” kinda thing, before traveling.
- 1 head of Romaine lettuce
- 1 head of Redfire lettuce
- 2 handful of Basil leaves
- 2 handful of Snack peas
- 1/2 a Red onion
- 1/2 a glass of Black olives
Cut, chop and slice as you like it best and mix in a huge bowl! We usually use Olive oil as dressing and our all time spice, Ranch Steak Rub from WildTree.
If you have leftovers, stor them in large Mason Jars in the fridge. They can last up to 4 days
